Dandelions remind us that life doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. They grow in sidewalk cracks, rocky soil, and windswept fields—proof that resilience is stronger than circumstance. They don’t just survive; they thrive, scattering seeds of possibility wherever the breeze carries them. Like the dandelion, we too can root ourselves in unexpected places, bloom with courage, and shine despite the odds. Their quiet wildness whispers a lesson: we are more resilient, more radiant, and more unstoppable than we often believe.

This past year has stretched and shaped our little family in so many ways. Through the challenges, we’ve discovered the beauty of living “the dandelion way”—blooming bravely and living wildly, no matter where the wind carries us.  Now, we’ve finally found a place to put down our roots and keep growing together.

We’re starting fresh in a new home, and since we’re moving in with very little, I put together a bare essentials list for myself and my 6-year-old daughter. One of the bigger things we’re hoping for is a bunk bed for her. As for me, I won’t be getting a bed—I’m planning on a sofa futon instead, to make the most of our space.

Here’s what we still need most:
 Beds & bedding
 Towels, bathroom rugs, and soap
 Plates, cups, utensils, 1–2 pots/pans
Groceries & snacks for my kiddo
 Broom, cleaner, laundry detergent
Lamps, Becca likes to have flameless candles for nightlights.
